Policies & Tuition

Policies

 

  • Hair must be pulled up and away from the face.

  • Ballet classes require long hair to be in a bun.

  • No jewelry except post earrings.

  • All dance shoes and bags should be labeled with the student’s name. Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • No food or drinks (except water/gatorade) are allowed in the classrooms without teacher’s permission.

  • Make-up lessons for missed classes are the responsibility of the student and are strongly encouraged. Please check with your child’s teacher to determine class options.

  • Prices are based on average monthly fee. It is the same regardless of three, four or five classes per month.

  • No credit is given for absences.

  • Any student who will not be performing in the recital will have their last class at the end of April.

  • There is a $25 fee for all returned checks.

  • All make-up classes must be completed within one month of the missed class. No make-up lessons are permitted in May or June.

Dancewear

Appropriate dance shoes and dance attire are to be worn in all classes. These items may be purchased at the studio. All students must wear studio brand dance shoes or must have approval prior to purchasing other brands. The studio also sells a variety of leotards, tights, skirts and dance bags for your convenience. NO Walmart or Payless dance shoes are to be worn for class and NO jeans.

Here Are The Guidelines For Appropriate Dance Attire For Each Class:

 

Ballet Classes

Solid color leotard, for level 3 and above, must be a solid black leotard, pink tights, pink studio brand ballet shoes. Hair should be in a bun.

Tap And Jazz Classes

Any style leotard, any style tights/dance pants and appropriate studio brand dance shoes. Check for class color.

Combo Classes

Any style leotard and tights, pink studio brand ballet shoes. Combo 2 also needs black buckle studio brand tap shoes.

Hip Hop Classes

A light fitting T-shirt and shorts/pants and black studio brand dance sneakers.

Acro Classes

Any style leotard or biketard, footless tights, studio brand acro shoes.

Lyrical Classes

Any style leotard, any style tights and appropriate studio brand dance shoes.

Adult Classes

Anything that you feel comfortable moving and stretching in as well as appropriate dance shoes.

Boys

Any shorts/pants and T-shirt they feel comfortable moving and stretching in as well as appropriate studio brand dance shoes. Check for class color.

Tuition

There is a $35 non-refundable annual registration fee which includes PADC dancewear. A discount is offered on the registration fee for additional family members for $30.

Tuition will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the first of every month unless payment is made another way on or before the 20th of the previous month.

30-minute class      $43.00

  • We offer a 10% discount for military families (past or active duty), Saturday recreational classes and daytime combo classes.

Competition

  • Solo: $60.00

  • Duet/Trio: $45.00

  • Private lesson per half-hour: $25.00

 

*Any tuition not paid by the 10th of the month is subject to a $10.00 late fee.

Recital Fees

Our annual recital is the second weekend in June. A non-refundable costume deposit of $60 per class is due by November 10. After this date, costume deposits are $65 per class. Costume balances will be posted in the studio in February. All costume balances are due by March 10, which includes tights, tax and shipping. After this date, a service charge of $5 per costume will be applied. No costume will be passed out until all tuition and fees are paid. No student may participate in the recital until all tuition and fees are paid. A recording fee of $30 is due by May 10. After May 10, the recording fee is $35. This fee includes a professional video download of each performance. Recital tickets are not included in the recital fee. Recital tickets will be sold online beginning in mid-May. You will be notified of the specific on-sale date, along with a link to purchase.
