If Delaware City Schools are closed due to the weather, all morning classes for that day will also be cancelled. Evening classes will more than likely run as scheduled. Call the studio after 2:30 pm to check the message for confirmation. If Delaware City Schools are closed, that does NOT guarantee that the studio is closed.
Recital Information
Class Picture Day.................................. May 12 (At the studio)
Dress Rehearsal......Thurs., June 14 and Fri., June 15 (At Chappelear Drama Center at OWU)
Recital...............................Saturday, June 16 (At Chappelear Drama Center at OWU)
Non-refundable costume deposit of $45 per class due by November 10. After this date, costume deposits are $50 per class. Costume balance TBA (check bulletin board in Feb) due by March 10 which includes tights, tax and shipping. After this date, a service charge of $5 per costume will be applied. No costume will be passed out until all tuition and fees are paid.Recital Fee of $50 due by May 10. After May 10, recital fee is $60. This fee includes 4 recital tickets and a professional DVD of the recital. Additional tickets may be purchased.
Bring A Friend Day
Monday, Sept. 26 – Saturday, Oct. 1. All students are invited to bring a friend to their dance or gymnastics class. This is a totally free class for their friend with special partner work and a dance just for that day.
Christmas Parade
Sunday, Nov. 20, PADC participates in Delaware’s Christmas Parade. This is a great way to welcome in the Holidays. Younger students ride on a hay wagon while older ones walk or dance their way down Sandusky Street. Dancers need to wear their studio shirt and a red Santa hat. Parents are welcome to walk with the float and pass out candy or drop their child off. More information will be passed out and posted on the bulletin board. The studio will be taking donations of candy for parents to pass out.
Watch Week
Monday, Oct. 17 – Saturday, Oct. 22 for Room 1 and 3.
Monday, Oct. 24 – Saturday, Oct 29 For Room 2.
Family and friends can sit inside the classroom and watch class. Don’t forget your camera!
Christmas Show
Friday, Dec. 9, PADC will host a holiday performance. This is a charity event with all proceeds going to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and canned goods going to the local People In Need food bank. A variety of classes will be asked to participate in this optional performance. More information will be passed out regarding this show in November. This is PADC’s way of giving back to the community by showcasing all of the great talent Delaware has to offer!
